In 1971 I slid into a pair of these red shoes to play girl's basketball in my high school. Our uniforms were red and yellow and these babies made me feel like I could fly. I loved basketball. Especially doing jump shots while practicing with the boys. As a shy but tomboyish young lady, what better way to get close to the opposite sex?

That's my dog standing by that large blue baseball cap. Her name is Candy but I call her squirt. Go figure! You think I am going to tell you something about playing baseball. Naa! Wore this cap while working as a bar maid during the late 70's early 80's. That subsidized my college education as well as influencing the transformation of my body, mind and soul. Let's hear a big yahoooo for the 70's!!!!!!
