About The Artisan

Jacqueline Jamieson

So many people ask me how I became an artist... Do you remember your first words or the first time you walked? Creating things has been a daily routine for me all my life. One thing I do remember is the first time I played with clay. It excites me even more now after three decades. I make pottery that comes from my heart. Each piece is a labour of love and expresses something about who I am and where I have been. I do not try to duplicate any of my work because to me each piece is special. To try and duplicate work would only stifle my creativity. So please enjoy each item as an individual piece of art as I do. Pottery - Choose from over 6 different pottery and sculpture styles - perfect for gifts or adding a personal touch to your home decor or dining experience. All wares are competitively priced so whether you are adding to an existing collection or starting your own, you'll never have to sacrafice quality for quantity. Pottery is an heirloom that can be passed down through generations. It's durable finish makes it dishwasher, microwave and oven safe! Jewellery - 100% original designs that are cost efficient and class up any style to maximize your wardrobe. Enjoy our selection of timeless antique brass and silver plated jewellery inspired by yesterday's trends that shape todays. Custom orders are available. Ask how we can create a personal design for your next special occasion.

About The Gallery

Once a special place for Sir John A. McDonald

The gallery is a historic landmark, having once been the Carriageway to the back of a tavern known to be the favourite watering hole of Sir John A MacDonald. The tavern remains to this day and although I do not drink gin as Mr MacDonald did I have been known to have a pint every now and then.
Here are some pics of an exhibition in our gallery last fall...
